42A Flash for $40 at Fry's

Forums:
http://www.frys.com/product/6249800?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG Just picked one up. I wasn't planning on buying a flash, and I know this unit isn't the greatest, but for $40, it's a steal (original around $250) I gotta learn how to use it now! Any tips? The auto mode with my 30mm seems not to produce great results. Also, I noticed that the auto-white balance isn't as accurate as it is with the built in flash.

I second that! ...Maybe someone would send a bunch over

Yeah I was crazy when I saw that. I'm in Canada right now and going, hopefully, to NYC. But there is no store anywhere near the places I am. If someone is able to pick some up for the ones that don't have access to a store that would be really cool.

Could somebody do this? ..and does somebody know how much it would be for shipping?

The story policy is to sell only per household and the stock is very limited, mostly floor samples or open boxes.

It's really not a bad flash especially if you are considering it on compacts like the EX1. Going much larger isn't really realistic IMHO on these smaller cameras. I'd love to have a Fry's near me. One can only hope this will trickle down and that Samsung as a new model coming to replace it.
